Coffee is at its peak flavor within days of roasting and grinding, while many bags of coffee can sit on store shelves at grocery stores and at Amazon for weeks or months before they arrive at your doorstep.
A great cup of fresh roasted and fresh ground coffee will always be better than and priciest old, stale blends.
Ground coffee should be chosen for convenience, and only if it will be consumed within 1 to 14 days to ensure optimal flavour. For those seeking long-lasting quality and freshness, I recommend ordering whole bean coffee and grind yourself before brewing it.
